The bargains I got today ( only from the clearance tables *50% off all fabrics*) (you have to excuse the photo quality. I am using my phone to take the pics as the girls have somehow wrecked our digital camera ! GRRR!)
Minty green muslin with stars on it. I got 4 metres for $2/m ( I got 4 metres because a few friends are having babies and I thought i could cut and edge the muslin to make some nice little wraps)

Black Broderie Anglaise(sp?) I got 2 metres for $8. I am going to use this for the straps and under layer of a tunic top I am going to make for myself. Black and White patterned chiffon. 2 metres for $4. The black/white patterned chiffon will be the top "floaty" layer.
(blurry photo I know! Sorry!)

Red/purple flower patterened chiffon. 2 metres and upon looking at the receipt when i got home realised she didn't charge me for this. Would of only cost $4 anyway. This will be the top layer of another tunic top for myself *if* the first one I make turns out properly.

Reversible spots/stripes in green and grey. This wasn't as cheap, it was $5/m and I got 2 m of it. I am going to make my 2 DD's 3/4 sleeve sweatshirts and some trackies ( like yoga pants) with this material.

Juicy apple print polyester/cotton. 2 metres for $8. Thought I could make some long sleeved t-shirts for my DD"s with this as well, i think it's so cute. May even make myself a top from the Ottobre women's mag I got the other day.

I just had to add a photo of these cute little shoes i got for DS 4wks today. I know, I know what
use does a 1 mth old baby have for shoes right? But they are so cute! I couldn't resist.
Ok now for some Work in Progress. These are the little overalls I made for Ds4wks, plus the "newborn" beanie that is too big. I just have to add either snaps or buttons and buttonholes to the shoulders then its all ready to be worn.
Here is the unfinished cardie/jacket in the same material I am making. As you can see I have to sew the sleeves on and do the button & buttonholes.
I want to make the overalls, hat and cardie in these materials as well.
Plus I have to put the buttons and buttonholes onto this cardie made in a flannelette material. I am thinking about sending it to a friend of mine who had a little girl the week after I had Ds4wks. But I am not sure about my sewing yet, if I decide it's too dodgy then I guess the girls can have it for one of their dolls.
