From little things, big things grow

This is the start of our fruit and vege patch. We've started it off just in pots and boxes then when we are ready and the plants that can be transplanted are also ready, we will plant them out into the vege patch we are planning out the back.

These first pictures are of our strawberry plants. They have the most gorgeous pink flowers on them. I keep getting told it's too late for strawberries but I just couldn't resist these, they were too pretty.

Miss A giving the plants a good watering in with her tiny watering cans LOL

In these two boxes we have carrots and also lettuce.

Hopefully some lovely little cherry tomatoes will be sprouting here soon

Salad anyone?

Ooh, how exciting to have your own garden patch. Hope to see in the near future, the fruits of your labour.

I've been going to starta veggie patch but kept procrastinating about the right spot - your solution is perfect Ali - in pots!
Can't wait to see pics of the crop.

Will be watching closely and learning...we want one in about five years time (we won't move into a house until then - we're in a townhouse now) :)
