But the boys and I have been baking.
My gorgeous little helper loves licking the spoons
Some patterns from the local Op Shop. 20 cents each, what a bargain.
I don't normally go to the local markets but with DF gone for the weekend I took the kids in yesterday for something to do. I found 2 bargains.
1. Womans day complete book of handicrafts for $3
and
2.The Margaret Fulton Cookbook for $2
MIL recently bought the updated version for $70
My local Quilting store "Grandma's Attic" is run by a friend of mine and I recently purchased this Mrs Perkins pattern from her. I love Giraffe's, I don't know why, I just do!
Last of all I found some of this fabric dye in my cupboard from almost 7 years ago when I bought a whole heap of it to tie dye my then newborn daughters baby singlets. I did such a bad job with them I put it all away vowing never to attempt it again! I think I was a bit harsh on myself though and finding this dye again has sparked an interest in re-trying some tie-dyeing.
I found some white towelling at another Op shop ages ago and it has been sitting on my fabric pile ever since. I wonder if this material would be suitable to tie dye? I think a couple of little terry towelling romper suits for a baby would look so cute.
Who's baby though............ I wonder ;)
