Material Obsession and a SS sneak peek

I have a sickness, it's called Material obsession!!!!!
I just can't help myself, if I see fabric on sale, I just have to indulge.

I picked up this lot of fat quarters from my local Sewing and patchwork centre. I just love the oriental design with blacks and reds. Two of these will end up as shorts for the littlest boy. The others I have no set plans for yet.

The next lot of fabric I bought at good old Spotlight. I went in and instead of browsing through their dress fabrics like I normally do, I wandered over to the quilting section where I was rewarded with - WOOHOO- a sale .

These three pieces are destined to become fitted sheets for the baby's cradle. All of my babies have been born heading into the cooler months so I have only flanellette sheets so far. This baby being due in 6.5 weeks will need some cooler bed linen.

This one is also for a cradle sheet. How cute!!
Master 3.5 picked out this red bug fabric for a funky pairs of shorts and If I have any leftover, I'll applique a top to match.
The blue fabric will be for a pair of shorts and appliqued top for Master 20 months.

I love, love, love this blue fabric with fairies and butterflies on it. As soon as I saw it I had visions of a redondo skirt skirt for one Miss and a cute dress for the other one.

I thought this material was pretty funky too in a medusa inspired way and this one will hopefully end up as a funky redondo for Miss 7 too.
Here's a small sneak peek at some of the presents for a certain member of the EB Sewing Groups Secret Santa. Hope my partner likes it all :)

I will be back later on as I got the best kind of mail today~ crafty mail :)
