a Spot of Op Shopping

I went to my local Lifeline the other day and found a couple of great books/magazines all in a reasonably good condition. I scored a Topkids magazine too for $0.2o with the pattern sheet still attached in the middle in perfect cond. There are some lovely little patterns in there too that i can't wait to make ( have to wait for summer though)

That last book (or first book lol), the soft toy book has some really cute lil softies to make which don't look too hard. some of my favs are :

One last photo. This is of a top I made for either one of my girls using stretchy orange material. I hate sewing stretchy fabric! I stuffed it up royally, used the wrong needle, machine kept skipping stitches, didn't have pattern instructions etc. Did I mention how much I hate sewing stretchy fabric! No close up photo for this T-shirt, I am too ashamed of the (lack of ) craftsmanship.

Oh my - I love that book - what great patterns - I never seem to find things like that at our opshops! Dont be too hard on yourself about the t-shirt - I have not even attempted making one yet so you are one up on me!
