Catching up on being tagged

Tuesday, 21 October 2008

I've been tagged twice and so far I've let them slip. Ooops.

I better do it now then hey!

I was recently tagged by a crafty mama who also has her hands full , Naomi from: http://pinklicoricelife.blogspot.com/

6 Random things
The rules are simple:
Link to the person who tagged you.
Post the rules on your blog.
Write Six Random Things about yourself.
Tag six-or-so other people at the bottom of the post.
Leave comments on their blogs, letting them know they've been tagged!
Let the person who tagged you know when you've written the post.

My six random things:

  1. I've joined my local choir and I really enjoy going along, having a sing and being "me" for an hour and a half and not 4 little peoples mum.

  2. My Dp and I were to be married on November 8th this year ( after being together 8 years tomorrow) but we've postponed it for now..

  3. The reason we've postponed it, is not because we weren't ready to get married, but rather we are now getting ready to welcome baby #5 to our family in oh about 15 weeks or so.

  4. I have a real thing for correcting spelling mistakes.....Maybe not so much my own though, more so other peoples ( drives DP mad!)

  5. I just got a new camera about 3 weeks ago, a Nikon D90. I wanted a Canon, Dp wanted me to get a Pentax and I finally settled on the Nikon. So if you notice a vast difference in the image quality of my photo's, you know why.

  6. I am a fabric-aholic. I don't know how to stop buying the stuff. Even if I don't need any, If I see some on sale I just have to get some " just in case" a need for it arises.

The second tagging I received was from the lovely Xiola at http://jettasnest.blogspot.com/

She awarded me the " Tree of Happiness Award" ( aww thanks Xi!)

I have to list 6 things that make me happy and then I get to tag 6 others who will do the same. Here goes.....

  1. Having happy healthy ( albeit sometimes very naughty) children. I am always grateful for my children's health because I know there are others not as fortunate health wise as my ferals.
  2. Living rurally makes me happy. I don't think I could ever go back to suburbia. I love the fact we don't live in our neighbours back pocket and my children have lots of space to run around in.
  3. I can bake ( and am quite good at) yummy things for my family and friends that they love and appreciate. There is nothing quite like the compliments you get from people with full tummies, licking their lips, looking for seconds :)
  4. Listening to my music makes me happy. If I am stressed , sad, angry, even if I have a mountain of housework to do, I turn up my music and away I go. I always feel much better afterwards.
  5. Having someone as yummy as my DP in my life to kiss and cuddle me and love me back
  6. Spending good quality time with my family is what I enjoy the most. Good laughs ( and little belly giggles) lots of fun and togetherness makes for a great day/weekend/week/month/year with my family.

Well that's it from me. I'm not going to tag anyone else as I think everyone I know has been done already ( that's what I get for being so slack!) Feel free though to join in and let everyone know what makes you happy!
