Handmade card swap

With "me" time at present being sorely limited, ( due to a very cute reason), I decided to try my hand at something different. Something crafty still, but something new for me. I joined in the "handmade card swap" over at Crafty Mamas and was given the lovely

to make a set of cards for.

I found it really hard just to make a start. Where would I begin? What could I stick to where?

I went looking around my house ( and in MIL's stash of crafty things) and finally had a variety of papers,stickers, ribbons, glitters etc to spread out in front of me to inspire some sort of card making frenzy.

A week later, many sessions of just staring at everything laid out on my table, here is the end result
